Winter Car Maintenance | Rte2 Hyundai Leominster, MA

Hyundai and Amazon have become partners for a new program they are testing out. Hyundai and Amazon have teamed up to provide on-demand test drives for their vehicles. The goal of this campaign is to eliminate the hassle of visiting a dealer to test drive a car; instead, Hyundai and Amazon deliver the car to you.

This program is being tested in the Los Angeles area to give people an opportunity to try it out. How does this program work? Hyundai has teamed up with members of Amazon Prime Now to give them an opportunity to make their lives easier.

Amazon Prime is a membership that gives users benefits such as free two-day shipping for eligible purchases, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Video and more. Prime Now is an extension of Amazon Prime that gives subscribers free same-day delivery of thousands of products including groceries, food from restaurants and now, cars. For a few specific days, Amazon Prime Now members living in the Los Angeles area will be able to order a 45-60 minute test drive of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra.

This campaign is called Prime Now, Drive Now and it will deliver a car to the customer’s location via a driving host that will help conduct the test drive. If the customer is then interested in purchasing the car or finding out more, they will be directed to their local Hyundai dealer.

This program is currently only being offered in certain geographic locations, but it is just the beginning of this partnership. Hyundai is hearing their customers and understanding that life can be busy and it can be hard to find the time to shop for a car. This program will allow customers to have the convenience of car shopping delivered right to them!
